I guess a small intro is in order!
First off, who is Cookie?
Cookie is a 12 year-old yellow Labrador Retriever, and like most Labs his age, he has developed arthritis. He has end-stage arthritis in his left elbow, arthritis in his spine and in his hip (the other hip had to undergo surgery – FHO – after an accident).
Cookie’s mobility may be reduced, but he is far from inactive. Last year I decided to buy a car so that we can go places, visit new ones and revisit old ones. I have made a checklist (constantly getting renewed) of places I’d like to visit with him while he is still mobile.
Hence the idea of this blog. I will write about places we’ve been during Cookie’s life, and I’ll add places we are going to now.
We are located in Belgrade, Serbia, and our adventures will be from this area.
